Minimum Salary requirement for SOC 2137 Web design and development professionals

Hi ,

My spouse wants to apply for Tier 2 General visa under the SOC code "2137 Web design and development professionals". As per the content I found online, an experienced professional mandates salary of 25,700 per annum. So does that mean 25,700 is the minimum salary requirement to be eligible to apply for T2 General visa?

Also, she is currently working on 'Dependent' visa on my Tier2 ICT visa, so if she wants to switch from T2 ICT Dependent visa to Tier 2 General visa, can she apply within UK or does she have to go back to her home country to make the application?

Lastly, as I mentioned she is already employed, does her employer have to put up a job advertisement, conduct interviews etc to process her Tier2 visa application?

For tier 2 general, it is a minimum of £30,000 or what is stated in the SoC, whichever is higher.

She has to apply from home country with a restricted cos and all the requirements must be met, ie rlmt to prove no British or EU or settled person is suitable for the job etc.

Rlmt is required for a minimum of 28 days before they can put in the request for a cos which goes to the monthly allocation meeting for approval before they can assign the cos to her.

2137, It now is on Shortage Occupation Code list, as of Oct 6, 2019.
