Tier 2 General Change of Employment

Post by lkv » Sun Feb 23, 2020 5:39 am

Hello All ,

This is my first posting after approval of Tier -2 general visa in 2017 .

I have applied for Tier 2 General -Change of employment ( I main applicant + 2 dependents together ) and our bio metrics is due on 20/02/2020 .

After booking appointment at https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/ ,I see following documents as mandatory ones to upload .
1) passports ( For all )
2) BRP (For all )
3) Marriage Certificate ( for my spouse )
4) Birth Certificate ( For my kid )
5) Other documents ( Council tax statement/utility bill which includes my and my partner name together )

There are lot more other categories under Other documents .Can any body suggest ,whether I need to submit any other documents for my Visa category like Payslips, bank statement ,Previous companies experience letters, new job offer letter etc .. or Would it be enough just to load Mandatory documents as listed above ?

I have one more query .

My First Tier -2 General Visa Issue date : 18/11/2017
Entry to UK : 29/05/2017
My First job start date : 1/06/2017
My last date of employment as per P45 : 31/12/2019
COS issue date for new employment : 19/02/2020
Start date of Employment : 01/04/2020

As per above dates ,my employment gap is 3 months .I understand as per few posting in this Forum ,There is no more 60 days employment gap Rule for successful ILR application/Outcome .

Can any body( or any of your friends ) in this Forum who had employment gap of more than 60 days and had their ILR application approved after 11/01/2018 ? Just asking for my peace of mind for next 2 years :(

Any help would be really appreciated .Many thanks .

Only submit what is asked for. The categories are generic and appear for all visa routes!!

There is no 60 day employment gap issue fornilr!!! The rules was removed a couple of years ago already and many have been successful with ilr.
