Dear Seniors,
I have few questions about my wife tier 2 extension.
I am on ILR from april last year & was doing job as well I got my ILR through Tier 2 General Visa.
I am going to apply her visa next month but its seems like I am going to lose my job & my question is impact on her application.
I have enough amount in my bank account for bank statement Do I need prove my working status as well
For Example pay slips or something?
I have british son as well.
What amount should be sufficient for bank statement?
What if I am job less during her visa application time any effect on application?
and I am taking child benefit under my name as well so I am concern now about her extension procedure.
I have couple of thousands in my account for bank statement is that should be okay?
That would be great if somebody clear my self.
Regards

You only need to prove £630 maintenance funds for 90 days. Your employment is irrelevant.
Child benefit in your name is fine.

Hello and good afternoon all team members,
I need some information about tier 2 general dependent extension.
I am on ILR & my wife on tier 2 dependent extension she initially got 20 months visa now she can have 3 years extension but the problem is she will still short of at least 5 months short for ILR application in future.
My First question is can I apply one more dependent extension because she need few months for ILR?
Second question is because we just need few months after this extension do we need to apply for 3 years next time as well?
Also what documents required for this extension.
Quick reply will be highly appreciable.
Regards
Sheeno

If she is short for ilr, she will need another extension which will be for 3 years again.
Same documents required as her last extension which you only recently applied for.

Hello CR001,
we only applied once which was her first visa as a dependent because I was left with only 20 months of tier 2 general so she got same lenght.
Last time she applied from ousdie the UK so we provided reasonable amount of evidence for our relationship.
But now we are living on same address.
In terms of UK living evidence I can only provide our joint bank statement & her providional driving licence copy & Electrol information.
DO I have to send my marraige certificate as well.
Our son is born here & he is british national.
Please advise me do I have to attached all marriage related evidence again for example pictures & all that
list documents list information highly appriciable.

What was your last CoS length for?? It is related to your last CoS as a tier 2 general visa holder.

You need to put an expiry date for your ilr as day month 2023 to get the correct fee. You don't put your last tier 2 expiry date.

HO charge me £2000.00 for IHS after I enter my ILR expiry date is that mean she will get five years visa this time & if thats correct that would be great because her visa was just 20 months

I did clearly state to put your ILR expiry date as 2023 and the day/month you are planning to submit!! A PBS Dependent extension when the main PBS visa holder has got ILR, is for 3 years as has already been mentioned in this topic.
