You do NOT need a new CoS for ILR. You complete your last cos details if asked for it.Harish chandra wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 8:51 pmHi Vivek
I am a bit confused.
For ILR application do we need a new COS? SOC code will be our previous tier 2 COS? Am I right?
No. You cannot combine tier 2 dependent time with tier 2 main visa holder time to make up 5 years for ilr. You need 5 years as a tier 3 dependent or 5 years as tier 2 general main visa holder. Please advise does 2 years of tier 2 dependant visa would count towards TIER 2 ILR?
vrai wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 10:04 pmDear Team,
For tier 2 ilr application, I need your help with below query
1. First tier 2 general visa granted on 10th feb 2016.
Employer start date was 1st March 2016
I travelled to India from 11th Feb 2016 to 28th feb 2016.
Since this travel is before my employer start date do I need to submit letter on my own to home office explaining this absence from UK?
2. will it be ok to submit tier 2 ilr application on 15 jan 2021?
3. Since i didnt travel outside uk In my last employment do I still need to get letter from them confirming the same?
4. I am getting letter from my current employer as per guidelines, since I didnt travelled outside while working with them do they still need to confirm in letter no absence outside Uk?
5. Lastly, do I need to submit my council tax, tenancy agreement and utility bills for the last 5 years?
I would be very grateful for your advise.
I am looking forward to hearing from you at the earliest.
Many Thanks
Best Regards
Vivek
