will second job be an issue with BC?

Post by goldsurfer » Wed Mar 04, 2020 1:25 pm

Hi All,

Due to unavoidable circumstances, I need to take up a second job while continuing in my first one. This would go on for 2-3 months. If I get self assessment done and pay due taxes, will it cause problems in BC application?

I have read previously that HO considers tax corrections as tax avoidance and this creates problems in citizenship applications leading to rejection.

Please advice.

Where did you hear that?? You are likely confusing the abused visa route and tax amendments for the now closed tier 1 general visa.

Thank you CR001 very much. So is it safe to assume that if I pay my tax correctly, this would not be a ground for rejection?

Correct. HO is fully aware of the processes for self assessments.
