Hello friends,

I have more than 4 years experience and have joining/leaving letters
and also experience certificates. But even though I had requested for
mentioning my roles and responsibilities my past employer did not
mention it. Although designation is mentioned.

I am not claiming any points for senior level experience. Is the letter that
I have with me is enough ?

Cheers.

ND,

Pretty o.k. - include details of the number of staff supervised/ managed if applicable and activities involved e.g. disciplinary, training etc

Guys.......... a way out for me also please :-))

If I ask my current employer a reference letter he might actually hand me
over a leaving letter :-))

So is it okay to have an appointment letter + pay slips + bankstatements + offer letter to prove my current employment ?

Cheers.

letter format regarding

Post by gosh » Wed May 11, 2005 5:52 pm

Hi Kaya,Chess & ND

Thanks for the informative posting. I have couple of questions related to the format of experience letter. In my company, I cannot disclose that I am applying for HSMP. I am planning to take the letter in format mentioned by ND. If the letter is addressed as "to whom so ever it may concern", will it be OK? or should it be addressed to the HO.
My other question is - I am planning to apply for experience letter stating that, I want to register for distance education or for PhD as an external candidate . Therefore, in my letter it will be stated that, "this letter is issued to enable me to apply for distance education / PhD". will that be ok?

thanks in advance and eagerly awaiting your reply

I dont think it will be a problem if it is addressed to "To Whom Ever It Many Concern" . But I am not sure about your second question.I think it should not be problem but can'nt you ask your employer not to include that ?

Its better not to but if you dont have anyother choice then take the same.
