Moving over zambrano

Friend of mine would like to move over to zambrano from other case( eu treaty rights) as his daughter recently got irish passport.
What kind of documents he need and what is the procedure he has to undergo?
Does he need to attend inis office himself or he need to make an appointment by online?

If his/her current permission is still valid, he/she can go into the immigration office directly and request the permission to be changed .
It is on the discretion of the immigration officer .
Document required are as following ;
1.passport and birth certificate in respect of the child.
2.letter from the GP or playschool confirming that the child is registered with them.
3.address proof on respect of yourself.
They probably ask for the details of the mother.
Child presence is must to carry out the registration process.
