Hi Shameem

Like you got up this morning hopeful that I'd here smthg - checked the website & called them up - nothings changed!! Website hasnt changed at all and the usual 'call back in 2/3 days' from the VAC Callcentre.

I have to admit, its getting tough now .... really want things sorted and my missus over here now - im having to dig deep & really keep the faith & sabr but its getting really really difficult.

Inshallah our patience will be rewarded!!

Muzzi17/Shameem - stay positive people - prayers are with you :D

I rang the VAC today and guess what....................same answer, call back in 2 to 3 days, surprise surprise. I have cum to the conclusion that the more i ring and check the website and obviously not getting a response the more stressed i am getting. Sigh Sigh!!!!

thats very true Shameem but the thing is how can one stop himself from not checking........i have spoken to a guy in VAC and he said they dont take any action untill 60 working days are gone past.
i wish i had other options then to just sit here and wait :(

Well i doubt any change will happen tomorrow. Independence day tomorrow in Pakistan so i reckon everything will be shut. Ur right Muzzi, you cant help but check the website, thats whats frustrating. So the guy u spoke to reckons they dont take action until 60 days have past, but ppl have been getting visas within that timeframe. We cant do anything but wait and hope..........My husband is gonna go down the VAC next week now.

well i asked him if VAC can chase on their end, it could be that they have lost my application in transit or somthing..........so i basically said is there a way he can track on his end from VAC then he said that he can not do anything untill 60 working days are past.
yeah 14th Aug and then its friday.....who works on friday!! we all know.so in other words next week :(

Got family visit twice multipal once fourth time refused

Post by qureshi787 » Thu Aug 14, 2008 12:58 pm

Dear
Assallam-mu-alaykum

I heard about you from my uncle Michael Marsh who just recently applied for his wife's settlement visa and got it.

My name is Omar Hamza Qureshi. I am a british national married to a pakistani girl. I have two small girls one is one year six months and the other is above three who wore born in UK and are british nationals. My wife has visited twice to UK on 6 months family visit and third time she applied for a multiple and got two years visa but did not use it and lost her passport. when we applied again fourth time for a visit visa they refused. i really don't understand how these people work twice they gave my wife 6 month's family visit visa once multiple family visit visa and now they have refused for a six month's family visit visa. I don't think i should appeal. What do you say? i think i should apply for a settlement now for good. can you help me with this? do i have to be in UK to apply for a settlement visa or i can do it from pakistan by your help? What documents do i need to send you and how much will it cost me all to gather? How long will it take you to get all the documents ready?

Hope to hear from you very soon.

Thank you

Allahafiz

O.H.Qureshi
