fixed deposits are acceptable. You will need to produce original fixed deposit receipts in your name or joint with your wife. No other supporting document is required to prove that the FD is original.
I had shown FD to support 2.5 lacs and 1.5 lacs in bank deposit for me and 1 dependant.
Note - This advise is valid if you are applying from India. I don't know of any other country.

HI US or UK,

Kindly refer to my response and can you please help me with this.

Yesterday I got a mail from BHC saying that still they have not got the verification status from Integra. Its almost one month pass and my documents are not verified yet.

I dont know in this case how to follow up with integra.

they always reply the same information stating that contact BHC.

Anybody facing the same problem please share what they have done.

Even i had mailed integra yesterday, no reply yet. BHC says my appliacton is under review with integra.

1) when did u applied.
2) which vfs location u applied.

I got a query.

My current visa is running out on 8 Sep 2008, and I still havent got the result for my tier 1 application.

Does anyone know, in case I got rejected, do I get a few months extension on my current visa?
