So, you think we should just go ahead and apply for my wife's PBS dept visa -- even if we paid the wrong amount for NHS.

She must apply before her visa expires. As already stated, you will likely be contacted to pay the additional IHS.

I have a question about my kid's situation.
He is 2 years old, and was born in the UK. He's been my dependant as a T1 dependant. It is expiring in mid may.
I am applying for ILR, and I know that he can get naturalised after I get my ILR. But, due to the pandemic, my appointment was postponed to June.
Would he be legal in the UK between May and June, while I am waiting for my ILR?
I was planning to register him as British right after I receive my ILR, but it is postponed 3 times already.
Any advice?
