Wrong Income declaration-previous employer

Hi

My husband is in tier 2 general visa.
He had changed employment recently.
While checking the payee account online he could see that his previous employer has declared income for the period incorrectly.
He has declared income for one month only in the place of 8 months.
We are checking with him for making the correction and declare correct income to HMRC.
Will this discrepancy affect us when we apply for ILR.
Please advise.
