Documents upload by spnsor - VFS 66 Wilson Street, London, EC2A 2BT

Post by taffet87 » Mon Mar 23, 2020 1:36 pm

Hi

I just wanted to check for a friend, his wife is in Pakistan but he needs to upload documents in UK and wants to use the assisted scanning service. I have heard in London you can pay a fee (£75?) and go to VFS centre at 66 Wilson Street, London, EC2A 2BT without any appointments to use this service.

Does anyone have any links that supports the above? The links I have seen say this is for Settlement applications only

Will be great to get guidance - the contact numbers for the VFS centre seem to be for schengen visa only as they deal with those from same address.

Thanks

Yea. This service is very good. Used it myself. Premium lounge for you to do the scanning and professional staff will look after you

Tip: scan the entry and exit stamps when the british sponsor went to pakistan and visit his / her spouse

they scan everything on your behalf, whilst you sit on a nice cream leather sofa and offered free hot drink or cold drink!

in addition, they ask for everything section by section in the meeting, so you dont get confused with loads of papers

This is may be a silly question:

This is different from Biometrics, right?

It all happens at the same appointment.

You should ask your questions in your own topic.

Yes its separate from biometrics

(However if for any reason you can also submit your documents at the overseas biometrics, but not recommended) and also you can upload online for free

The best option in my opinion is the London office

Thanks Suhail for clarification.

I am planning to do scanning here (most likely to use this option as I heard so many negative feed back about self scanning system) and my wife is going to have biometrics in India.

Do they provide any document check service. I mean can they tell us you are missing this evidence or advice us to include a particular supporting evidence?

The workers were very professional and asked everything section by section
Take everything with you that you have. Even if you dont end up using it. They will tell you. It all depends on your application what you need
They even have a photocopier but it costs.
Dont forget your appendix
