Deferring the salary or reduction in the salary on tier 2

Post by varshashastri » Tue Mar 24, 2020 3:08 pm

Hello,

My company is into airline business and they are facing difficulties due to coronavirus situation.
They are considering deferring a portion of salary to a later point or reduction of salary to some extent.
I am thinking of how it could affect my Tier 2 visa.
My SOC is 2136 and minimum salary is 32,600, but I am paid 36,000 and am working 37.5 hours per week.
What's the salary cut I can take if I reduce my working hours to 30 hours per week? Can my salary be deferred to a later date? If yes what financial year do they calculate the minimum salary for?
