Previous Indian employer releaving letter - Required in UK?

Post by ra_njan » Wed Aug 13, 2008 3:02 pm

Hi,

If for some reason, I could not able to manage the Releaving letter from my Indian employer, will it be a problem to get an offer in UK?

I mean do they bother about the my proper release from the Indian employer?

Experiencd members, please comment on their personal experience.

Thanks.

release letter(s)/service exp letter is not that imp (my exp) but yes they surely do a ref check and they do emphasis to give the contact details of ur last employer and the co's HR head....just see ur co's line manager and HR manager cooperate with the ref check process.

hope this helps

No one asks relieving/exp letter here...but Previous employer reference does matter a lot.
