Wrong Occupation category on cos

The occupation category for my cos comes under shortage of occupation but the cos says it doesn’t come under shortage of occupation. They did their RMLT as well for this category as well and selected after that.

What should be done? Can tier 2 visa be applied in the normal category or will they refuse because the category is incorrect.

Useful to state what SOC was used and what the job title is!!

If rlmt was required for a cos, then it is not a shortage occupation usually.

The job code is is 2126 job title is Technical development Engineer
However the company I got accepted to conducted a labour market test in which I was shortlisted and selected for the post.

The COS that I have received states
Is the job in shortage of occupation list : N (No)
Did you conduct labour market test : Y yes

However now that I’ve checked it says job was in the shortage of occupation list.
I’m confused because clearly the company wanted to select the best candidate and thus consulted RLMT but then the job code states it’s in shortage of occupation.
Which tier 2 visa should I apply for?
