Work Permission for switched dependetn of student

Hi ther,

Just wanna know that is my wife allowed to work or not?

My case is like this that My wife and I both were on student visa, Than we had baby girl so, my wife left the studies and changed the status and she became dependent of me, Mean student dependent.

Now the visa they gave us says resident permit and at last no resourse to public funds, doesn't say any thing else like she is dependent or what? And didn't give us any letter. Well, according to law dependent of student can work full-time, Is she allowed as well or ..............?

well, she has got 2 years and 9 month visa from today.
