Super priority is not available because UKVI cannot process applications within 24 hours anymore. You are not entitled to a specific service. You are only offered a level of service available when you applyEhd1202 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:21 pmYes, perhaps I should have been more clear. I would like thoughts on if those of us that are forced to choose the standard 6 month processing time will be able to utilize priority/ super priority after the Centres reopen.
It seems grossly unfair for us to all have to wait when normally we would have gotten a decision in 24 hours and this is completely out of our hands.
You can upload your documents on UKVCAS system anytime before your appointment date. Closure of centers has nothing to do with their online system. UKVCAS online system runs as normal. Documents must be based on your application date which is the date you submit your application online.ilrupdates wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 9:58 pmHi if I submit ILR standard application online today (say on 24/04/2020) , will I be able to scan and upload the supporting documents myself DESPITE the fact that all the appointment centers are currently closed? The date on my last bank statement, employer letter, and sponsor declaration letter is 10/04/2020
If I will not be able to scan and upload supporting documents due to the closure of centers, and uploading of documents is delayed for month or even more , Will I need to get the new employer letter, last bank statement and Sponsor declaration letter with fresh dates, or the old ones with dates on them (10/04/2020) will still be okay?
Thanks
Zimbas advice you were already given remains the same.lightdog wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 6:57 pmHey guys,
As usual I've been getting lots of conflicting answers from UKVI on this, but the situation is as follows:
It has been suggested that we cancel the application and attempt to receive a refund, but does anyone have any insight into this? Any advice?
- Paid for ILR/super premium service slightly before the grace period, on the assumption (and advice) that the date of the biometrics appointment would be considered as the date of the application itself; ironically because we were concerned about being able to book during the outbreak
Then everything shut down and we can't book an appointment at ALL, and we're being told alternately that everything is still fine and that we will be able to book once the centres are reopened, or that the application will still fail because of the date of payment
- Was told by UKVI either that the application is now doomed to rejection because of the date of payment being prior to the grace period or that everything is fine so long as we book an appointment during the grace period
If you have submitted and application before visa expiry date and the visa expires, you are protected by section 3C of the immigration rules, which means the existing spouse visa conditions continue until HO have made a decision on the ikr application.
Note that UKCVAS is NOT an UKVI or HO department. UKCVAS is an independent private company who only has the contract as a third party for the biometric and identity checking service etc.t2momodu wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 1:47 pm@amrotab I had thought you had been asked by HO to supply documents via email?
Can you confirm your ILR application route? was it it Set M or SetO?
My appointment has also been moved to 15th June 2020 at this point, I cannot be bothered at all.
HO and UKVI needs to be sued and if possible sacked....just my angry rant!
it's just a rant....geez relax!! it's frustrating for most of us.CR001 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 2:00 pmNote that UKCVAS is NOT an UKVI or HO department. What do you want to sue for??? That every precaution is being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and that the government issued a lockdown and that this is inconveniencing you??? Get a grip!!!
Your previous post states you already started the tier 1 dependent application. She must apply and submit online pbs dependent application before her visa expires as you ha e already been advised.cliftonianbristol wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 4:16 pmI am applying for ILR after 5 years on Tier 2 and 1. My wife cannot, she'll extend her dependant visa.
Our Tier 1 visas are expiring May 17. My ILR appointment was in March originally but now in June.
But, what should we do about my wife? She'll be a dependant of me, but I won't be getting my ILR till June. And she cannot wait until June as hers is expiring in May.
Can she submit her application as a ILR dependant before I get my ILR?
What should we do?
Add a covering letter referencing you ilr application. Note if your ilr fails, her application will also fail.cliftonianbristol wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 4:30 pmYes, we started. We just didn't submit/pay for it.
I know we need to submit it before it expires. But, then how would she get it without me having an ILR? Because, it is for a dependant of an immigrant with ILR.
I am pretty confused.
Thanks.
I share your pain and frustration!!!. My appointment which was initially on 26/3 got delayed 4 times now to. 24/6!!!!.t2momodu wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 2:29 pmit's just a rant....geez relax!! it's frustrating for most of us.CR001 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 2:00 pmNote that UKCVAS is NOT an UKVI or HO department. Potentially yes when they open the online booking system. But I doubt u will be able to get any earlier appointment as there is a huge back flow of applicants now!!AnILRApplicant wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 10:35 pmHey! I’ll likely be in the same boat as you soon- are you able to change appt dates to a closer date at a diff centre?
No.mkhan83 wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 8:41 amI applied online on 18th April. Paid online. Then created account on UKVCAS website.
Unable to book any appointments in any centre
I uploaded all the required documents on their website
I received Emails from UKVCAS on the same day, the account was created on their website which states
Due to COVID-19, you will be unable to book an appointment. All centres are closed. We will inform you once the centres are open and you will be able to book your appointment OR keep checking the website to book an appointment.
Since 18th of April I haven't been contacted by UKVCAS to book an appointment
I keep checking the website every day to book an appointment but no appointments are available.
Just a question
Could it be an issue if I am unable to book an appointment till end June/July.
I keep checking website daily to book an appointment but nothing is available
Regards
