More Immigrants in the UK (MBA Provision)

Post by tgs » Wed Apr 13, 2005 9:04 am

Anybody noticed the new HMSP application forms and MBA Provision ?

http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... ision.html

The HSMP is designed to attract highly skilled people to the UK to seek and take work. The MBA provision within this addresses the weakness in the UK economy in the quality of management by attracting highly qualified and talented managers to the UK.

Yes. I would imagine people with MBAs from these unis wouldn't have much problems working anywhere - it costs a leg to study there and before that you have got to get admitted...

Most of which you said is true except for some 5 schools included for UK.
These schools stand no match for the other 45 b-schools

hey guys,

the fact taht mba from these 50 mba schools (10 from UK and not 5 brave) can get accepted automatically is really aggrivating, to say the least.

in my young age, i have seen MANY fresh graduates from TOP (ultra-expensive) universities who are well UNDER others who have paid a regular tuition in a decent academic program BUT with more talent and professional experience.

annoying, isnt it??

ANYWAYS, i shall go back to my fresh STANDARD application and make it perfect this time.

best

Hi guys!

Very depressing that MBA provision for me, I have to say.
I have just been refused on HSMP. However, I am currently MSc. sdudent in one of those top 50 business schools. BUT it is not an MBA!!!!! In fact , I initially aplied on MBA programme but changed my mind later and transfered on Master's programme as syllabus was better there.
Tough luck. isn't it?
