CSI requirement

Post by potolot2 » Wed May 20, 2020 12:23 am

Hello all,
Just wondering if CSI will effect on my application if I apply for it-

1)I'm a non EEA and came in the UK 2014 with FP as my husband is an EU national. Then, I received 5 years Residence Permit from 2014 - 2019.

2)I have got settled status in 2019 without having any Pre-settled status.

3)I worked full time 2015 - 2018 (Almost 3 years)

4)I became a Nursing student in 2018,but I didn't take any CSI.So,in the last 5 years,I had worked 3 years and 1 year as a student without CSI.

5)In 2020,I'm in 2nd year student, but I am holding Settled status from May 2019.

Now Can I apply for naturalisation as I did not take CSI and my EU spouse have been exercising treaty rights by working since 2014 to until now. Thank you for your kind advice on this complicated CSI Issues.

As the EEA citizen spouse has never been a student or self-sufficient person during their stay in the UK, you should be fine.
I am not a lawyer or immigration advisor. My statements/comments do not constitute legal advice. E&OE. Please do not PM me for advice.
