Hi,zouyi8 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 2:44 pmI'm going to move to another company, which means I need a new T2 sponsorship. But my current visa won't be expired until the end of September. So I think it is nothing to do with the expiration date - you can apply T2 as long as you have a CoS number (i.e. someone wants to sponsor you).
For everyone. If it helps you, I was switching employer, applied for new visa but haven't managed to schedule biometrics yet. I started new job this week under these new guidelines.varshashastri wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 12:53 pmCould any experts please advise on this?
Is this guidance for everyone or only those whose visa is expiring by 31 may?
Thanks for the update. How long did the CoS issuing from the company take? Did it have any delay?Lady888 wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 3:58 pmFor everyone. My previous visa haven't expired and wasn't due to expire in May - I didn't get curtailment letter.
No delays at all. If employer has stock of unused unrestricted certificates, CoS is issued immediately as I understand.quoala wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 7:34 pmThanks for the update. Thanks, Are you changing employer or extending with the same employer? i am changing employer and going to start with the new employer from july. In the Home office email, they mentioned like,´i am writing to you in relation to your T2 G visa on basis of your employment with '(my current employer)' and UAN ...'.
Did they mention correctly to you if your changing employer ? i replied them attaching my application and said that i am changing employer and not applying on basis of my current employer!
pls let me know !
Thanks

Hi professor_nairobi - can you please update if you get any movements/clarity with your situation? I'm in the exact same scenario as you: T2G Dependent expiring in 2022 but needing to make the switch to T2G as as my COS expires in June 11 >.<professor_nairobi wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 5:26 pmHi Sainatha
Can you switch T2G Dependent to T2G in UK itself?
My visa (T2G Dependent) expires in 2022 but I need to switch to T2G as my employer is ready to sponsor me, even they got COS approved in April.
I will not be able to go to India to apply. So Can I apply here itself?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Is your application mentioned in this sentence? , ´'I am writing in relation to the application you have submitted for leave to remain under Tier 2 General in the United Kingdom with UAN XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX'. ?Sainatha wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 7:21 pmDear Sir/Madam,raj_262920 wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 7:06 pmCound you post the email Without your info please?
