IF the Tier 1 application is rejected...

Post by coolsats » Wed Jul 30, 2008 1:50 pm

Hey guys,

I always has this query in my mind:

1) IF the Tier 1 application is rejected, will they stamp it on the Passport, rejected or something else...

2)If the application is rejected, how sooner can we apply again, and will the chances stay less, if we re apply, i mean what are the changes if we re-apply once the applicaion is rejected...

I understand they will not imprint any rejection stamp on passport.

You can re-apply as should you have required documents in hand, no time limit.

Will they at any case, stamp a rejection in the passport, even I always had this doubt. Like how they do while you apply for EC.

Try PMing people who have received refusals as only they can confirm this(but might not want to do so publicly).

No the passport remains clean(not sure in case the refusal is based on 'General Grounds for Refusal' category). Refusal of entry clearance means "no visa stamped on passport".
For your queries regarding reapplying... you can reapply immediately too(without going in for administrative review). But your chances of clearing it depends on why it was refused in first place.
My spouse did reapply & it is stamped too.
regards, deepa.

Visa fee

If the Tier 1 application is rejected for whatever reason, is the visa fee refunded. VFS takes Rs. 51,000.00

No! :D
And it's not VFS but BHC which takes (and gets to keep) the 51K!

Hi

If your visa is rejected they put one seal on your passport which have your case no. and also your fee is not refunded.

You can re-apply anytime once you get your document back but you should overcome rejection reason when you reapplying.

All the best if your visa is rejected and you reapplying :)
