Tier 2 (General) Dependent || Police Clearance & Language Requirements

I am trying to apply for a Tier 2 (General) Dependent visa for my wife in India. I have following queries with respect to my wife's visa application:

• I want to know whether Police Clearance Certificate is a mandatory document for a dependent visa application.

• Also, please could someone help with the English language requirements for a dependent visa. Is IELTS or UK NARIC certificate, mandatory for a dependent visa applicant?

• Is there a ready reckoner available on the forum which lists all the documents required for a Dependent Visa? If yes, please could somebody guide me to it.

There is NO English requirment for pbs dependents.

The online form will have a checklist and tell you what you need, ie 90 days maintenance funds, evidence of subsisting relationship, passports and your brp, marriage cert.
