how much time after submitting ITA

Post by Harry2007 » Fri Mar 14, 2008 4:36 am

Hi,

I had applied for immigration in NZ under SMP from India in these dates:

EOI submitted: 26-Sep-2007
EOI accepted : 12-Oct-2007
ITA received : 15-Oct-2007
Visa aplication submitted: 28-Nov-2007

I am still waiting for my visa application to be allocated to a immigration officer. I was told my application is in queue and will take at least 3 months to get allocated. Its over 3 months and still nothing has happend. I am a IT professional currently working in India and do not have any job offer in NZ right now. Can anybody tell me how long I have to wait before my application gets allocated to a visa officer and then how much time does it require to get immigration?

Hi, Harry,
I am new here. Just want to ask whether you have obtained your visa already or not.
I have the same case with you.
EOI submitted: 4 April 2007
EOI accepted : 15 August 2007
ITA received : 23 Nov 2007
Visa application submitted : 20 March 2008
I am still waiting now. Interested to know your outcome.
I wonder how much time is required for the visa officer to assess our application.

Time for Visa Application allotment

Post by Harry2007 » Mon Aug 18, 2008 11:54 pm

Hi Tenghp,

My PR is under processing right now and I am expecting to get it soon.

Meanwhile I got a job and work permit and am located in NZ currently.

In my opinion your application will be in low priority without a job offer anyway. Hope that helps.

cheers!
Harry

Hi, Harry,

Happy to receive the information from you. Congrats for being successful in your pr application.
I am thinking there must be a time frame for them to tell me yes or no so that I don't need to keep myself waiting for the outcome.
I wish to bring my children to study in NZ and at the same time I will try to register with the teaching council there. I am a teacher by profession.
I fulfil all criteria to become a teacher there but I haven't got a band 7 for my writing component for my IELTS test.

ANyway, nice to meet you here. Wish me good luck in the next few months.
