I have printed our my land registry document from internet - should I get this certified by a solicitor.

Nope, there's no need to attest/certify this. I enclosed a photocopy in my application and was successful. All land registry titles are now stored electronically (i.e. Database). The ECO can make further enquiries if need be using the details on the print out.
