Residence Card delay?

Post by Confused87a » Mon Jul 13, 2020 3:46 pm

Hi all!

We went through tribunal back in January 2020, and the judge ruled in our favour. Our lawyer at the tribunal told us that the residenc card's delivery might take a few months. We thought nothing of it at the time, but it is now July, and we are very worried given the applications for pre-settled status deadline is later this year (I think??).

So, we contacted the Home Office's BRCDelivery email, as suggested on the government's website, but they fobbed us off in their reply and told us to contact Croydon. However, they didn't give us an email address for that office, and we are very confused.

Today, we asked our lawyer for advice, and she instead told us she'd charge us 350 pounds if she did all this for us.

We are feeling very, very overwhelmed right now, and don't know what to do.

The lawyer you used at the tribunal should have chased the home office for you.
