Fees for multiple applicants

Post by expat2019 » Mon Jul 20, 2020 10:43 pm

I'm going to apply for BC and include my wife and our child (dependants).
The total payable fees would be around £4000.
Will I be refunded:
- for every unsuccessful dependant?
- the total fees if the main applicant (me) won't succeed?
Cheers

No one is a dependent in terms of BC. Every application is considered on its own. So no.

And in any case, there is no refund for unsuccessful applications. You will get back £80, the citizenship ceremony fee, for every adult application because you will not be having a citizenship ceremony if your application is refused, but the rest of the fees will be kept by the Home Office.
