Applying for neutralisation before paying last year tax

Post by Londoner8881 » Wed Jul 22, 2020 9:47 pm

Hello to everyone I want to apply for my neutralisation but My last year tax is still due I have submitted my tax returns on time but still cannot pay the amount because of the pandemic my work is really down. So is it ok if I apply for my neutralisation now or shall I wait and pay the full tax and then apply or can I pay half of my tax and apply ? Ur advice will be very much appreciated thanks.

This should not be an issue for your naturalisation application if you have made (or will be making) arrangements with HMRC as to paying your outstanding tax.
