I got my HSMP EC. Visa stamped on 23rd July and got back my pp on 5th of August .

Would you please share, when did you apply ? Is it Tier 1 (General) entry clearance ?

hina_France : I applied under old HSMP , I sent my application for EC on 2nd July , got verfication call on 22nd July , Visa stamped date is on 23rd July but I got my pp back on 5th August . There is some delay in sending the pp back , all the best with your application

Since you applied in July, Have you fullfiled the Maintainence Fund requirement ? As per I know, after June 30th, Tier 1 General applies to all applicants from Pakistan.

Do we also need to provide documentary evidence detailing the source of any funds that have entered in the account within the last 3 months, for example fixed deposits, receipts and/or legal documents relating to the sale of assets etc. Is it an obligation ?

My friend submitted his EC (work permit) on the 30th of June and still no ans. Ring Gerry's they said send a mail to KHI High commission and ask them for an update but didnt give any email or contact. Can anyone help in this regard.

Hi Mna8,

It has been already 32 working days for your friend. I don't know why they asked you to email Khi High Commission which is not dealing with visa's at the moment.

Any way ask him to email at visqry2.islamabad@fco.gov.uk for update.
I hope he will get good news soon.

Hello all...

I applied for HSMP in end of May and there is no result so far. Anyway, if and when I get an approval I intend to apply as soon as possible. Provided it is an approval, inshAllah.

I just want to know if anyone has applied for EC under transitional arrangements. If so, what documents are required? The form does not ask for a lot of stuff, but what was submitted by successful applicants. I intend to apply for my 2 dependents. Now I have half my money in the bank and half of it as mutual funds. Does anyone have experience with mutual funds as maintainance funds.

Hi imikins:

I will be really grateful if you can provide a few more details regarding your EC details. Like did you apply for EC under Tier1 transitional arrangements for HSMP approval letter holders? Please also list the documents (specially related to maintenance funds) that you submitted with your application. Did you apply yourself (with a detailed covering letter) or through an agent (if so, which agent?).

Hope you can answer these questions as I think many people have these questions.

is there any body applied admin review from BHC islamabad?
i have been rejected becz they didnt accept my trustee account where i m sole signatory of my daughter's trustee account; in simple words my money, in my daughter's a/c, She is only two years old. I am applying for admin review. any idea how long is it taking for admin review from pakistan? any body have any time line?

visa issue date: same on which day verification done

I wanted to know what is the time its taking the BHC Pakistan to process work permit applications currently. I applied on the 29th of August 2008 from Islamabad and am still waiting to hear from them. Does anyone know how long can it take?

Also can anyone tell how much time it will take for dependants' visa. as i have to apply for my wife and daughter. i just came here on 4th of Aug. got a job and plan to apply for dependants' visa in november. kindly confirm if someone has experience.

i came here under the old hsmp scheme.

I have received my HSMP approval and I am planning to make EC application as soon as my fund requirement is met. Please advise

- Document you had submitted with your EC application
- What type of varification were done ?
- Can I maintain fund in a joint account with my wife?
