My employer is applying for a restricted Cos next month. I do not have a labour market test, however my job is under SOC 2136.

Is labour market test mandatory? What are my chances for a salary between just under 40k annually? Is there any other things that I should be looking for?

2136 is a Shortage Occupation, no need for RLMT.

Your salary must meet the experience rate stated in the SOC.

Are there any advantages of having a Labour Market test with SOC2136? Do they score more points?

Employer notified me today that I've had approval yesterday - my application would score 51 points.

I see someone mentioning in the June COS thread that they had their COS approved for 51 points. Does that mean 51K pounds in salary or could it be 20 points for the SOC and 31K salary? I am confused with the points mentioned there as I have a salary bit over the experienced threshold for SOC2136.

The requirement is a salary at the experienced rate in the SOC as a minimum.
