Did you get an answer to this? I'm in the same situation as you.
I became eligible for ILR after working as a Tier 2 (General) migrant with 2 employers and finally applied for my ILR on June 30th. Had my biometric last week so hoping to get an outcome on my ILR soon.
My wife came to UK in Dec 2017 and has lived as a PBS dependent for just under 3 years. Her visa expires in Nov and I'm applying to extend her PBS dependent visa.
Should I wait for my ILR decision to come through or apply for her visa extension now and add a cover letter saying I have an ILR application in process?
1. Please start your own topic with your queries
2. She can apply shortly before her visa expires, you should have your ilr decision by then,to keep it simple.
Thank you CR001.
Makes sense to wait for my ILR decision and then submit her extension application.
1. Am i right in thinking we shouldn't go via FLR (M) route which resets the clock for her settlement and continue to extend as a PBS dependent?
2. Also, I changed my Tier 2 sponsor since she got her original PBS dependent visa in 2017 but that should not matter when we apply for her extension? I should just put my latest CoS details when applying for her extension
