UK NARIC soft copy

Post by ac1992 » Tue Jul 07, 2020 11:25 am

Hello.

Does UKVI accept PDF statements issued by UK NARIC ? UK NARIC issued me my English proficiency statement last month and due to travel restrictions is unable to post the hard copy ?

Any response will be much appreciated.

Many Thanks

As per current process, All documents must be uploaded to the system. So if you can upload soft copy of NARIC then that is sufficient.

Hope you have two documents from NARIC, one for Degree comparability and another one for English level.

Yes I have both the documents. The statements clearly state that this PDF is being issued due to Covid19 restrictions. Hopefully they shouldn't question that

UKVI process query

Post by ac1992 » Mon Jul 27, 2020 12:02 pm

Hello.

Before taking a decision, does UKVI reach out to applicants in case they have any query on the documents submitted for their application ?

Thanks

No, they don't generally contacted you. They base their decisions on the documents and application submitted.

I don't need a visa to live in the UK.

The most common request for clarity is the English requirement or alternative evidence, which they do not always ask for and simply refuse for failing to meet the requirements. Other than that, UKVI don't contact applicants for anything.

I have applied for Tier2 General visa category. It has been 13 working days so far and I have not heard back any update from the UKVI team.

I am just very anxious if all my supporting documents are fine. Hence I asked this query.

How many accounts do you have?

It seems the process would take at least 15 working days. People on other threads have posted their timelines and it seems everyone is waiting
