Thank you for the link, I have used the points calculator and it seem that I do not qualify since my qualifications was obtain more than 12 months ago, that is why I was a little confused about the English requirements since I was previously on SEGS

Since ur SEGS expired before June08, then I don't think you will able to apply for PSW. Only those people whose IGS has not expired before July08 will be able to apply for PSW
portant!
To qualify for Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) of the Points Based System you must be able to demonstrate that you have funds to support yourself andany Dependants. For the main applicant this is £2,800 with a further £1,600 needed for each dependant accompanying you or planning to join you within 12 months of your arrival in the UK. These amounts must be held in your personal bank account for a minimum period of 3 months immediately preceding and dated no more than 7 days prior to the date you submit your application. The balance should not fall below the required minimum at any time during the 3 month period.

First of all I am not sure why u are in your native country?
My suggestion would be to come back to UK as soon as possible , work in UK for next 3 months and apply for extension. The purpose of PSW is for those people who is willing to work here during that time. Don't worry about your previous refusal. If you come back now and work here then your intension to work under PSw will be satisfied and it will easy for you to show that. Regarding fund, if you are applying within UK then you need to show that £800 in your bank for the last three months prior to apply for extension. therefore if you put £800 or more now and then earn in UK for the next three months and try to maintan £800 balance through out next three months, then I don't should have any problem during extension.
SO it mean i must be residing and working in uk to be eligible to get PSWrockhall wrote:Sajjad,
You are running out of time, why do u have SEGS and you are out of the UK you need to work on that fast as Raj suggested if not you will not be able to get an extension. I do not know if you will have a problem planning your return, finding employment and applying for the PSW extension within that short space of time.
