two applications in the Home office simulteneously

hi every one.

i would appreciate some advice please. i wish to know if i can submit another application as an EU-dependant to the Home office while awaiting an outcome of a previous application for a student visa.

At the moment, i am dependent on my spouse- who is student. I however submitted an application to convert to a student in my rights, still awaiting a response since last year.

Are there any possibilities of my proposed application as a dependant of an EU- nationale adveresely affecting the outcome of my pending student visa and vice versa, or is it okay for me to have these two different applications in simulteneously? ie is it better to await the student visa outcome first, or is it okay to do both applications at the same time?

If you are submitting a second application, you are essentially withdrawing the first one. If your first application is approved and then the second application approved, the first approval becomes void. If your first application is approved but the second rejected, the first approval stands. If your first application is rejected but the second approved, the second will remain in force.
