Also given the waiting time for either IDV or Biometric Appointment I guess the mandatory completion date on the UKVI application page is irrelevant now ? This is on our UKVI application page and was the date that first comes up as actions to complete.

"Mandatory actions : Attend an appointment to provide your documents and biometrics by 17 August 2020"
At the moment it is hard to fit on the Mandatory BIO date in application
Many Thanks .

We applied on 30/04/2020, they sent us re-use email this week and IDV email, we chose opting out, hopefully we get an appointment after 10th Aug.

Ignore the date. You will not be penalised for delay due to corona.

Hi,

I have submitted SET(M) on 9th July. I have received no further communication. I have uploaded all documents on UKVACS and used "Submit to UKVI" option.
I am in similar situation only I have only uploaded the docs not submitted them, I can't seem to find any definitive answers on IF i should submit them or not at this stage

Surely, the submit documents is only for those who don't need to attend an appointment and can re-use biometrics, since I haven't received that email, I may still be required to attend an appointment and would like them to check my docs before sending to UKVI

Submit button mostly all got the options -it is not specific to reuse category

Thanks for the reply. So if most but not all have this option, is there a benefit to submitting now before biometrics? I understand that once submitted, if any other docs are required, you can not submit yourself, so whats the point in submitting at all?

I am not sure what you will gain NOT submitting? If your documents are complete, you should submit. At least there is a possibility UKVI will start the processing. Note, UKVCAS staff is not trained in immigration matters, so they can not do much, they just check documents as per checklist and submit.

Submitting at least they will take your application to next level review until you wait for BIO
Many Thanks .

Possibly, your application is being processed and an interim decision will be reached. Soon after you submit your facial image, most likely you will get a decision.

Is there a IHS fee when you apply for ILR?

Regards
I applied on 25.06, got re-use email on 23.07, also thinking of opting out- this phased approach suggests I might get an invitation for IDV app by the end of the month, whereas if i opt out i may get an appointment by the end of next week. Ths crucial piece of information- whether there will be enough appointments and hos costly they will be

No there is not. The OP has applied for ILR for themself and a dependent extension for their spouse.

Hi Guys I need your advice I think I have also received the IDV email but it has gone to my lawyers email as she used her email address during the application process, however she is on holiday and cannot check if I have received this email or not but I did get the initial reuse on the 04/07/2020 to my lawyer and forwarded on to me. She will not be back from holiday until 10/08/2020 where I want to Opt out of this IDV app and go for an appointment instead.
My question is can I email UKVACS with my UAN number and copy my lawyer in that I want to opt out any advice will be very much welcomed. (Ps I sent my lawyer an email yesterday to check if I had received the IDV app email I got no response and rang today and was told she is on holiday)

No, you have to email them from the email address which you registered(your lawyer's email in this case).

Any word on July submissions? Applied ILR (M) in early July. Thank you!
Unfortunately it looks like there may not be any progress for July applicants this week.

By looking on following statement in IDV app email, it's most likely that they may open biometric appointments in the week starting from 10th August (for people who applied in July along with people who opted out for IDV app). There are also chances that it may be after people who opted out for IDV app.

This gives an impression that they want to slowdown things for new application who applied in July or after and trying to make some focus on people who are in biometric-reuse category and applied in June and before that.

If you opt out on or up to 7 August 2020, UKVCAS will send you an email during week commencing 10 August 2020 inviting you to book an appointment at a UKVCAS service point.

I applied for ILR Set 0 on July 20.

Received email from HO yesterday that it may take more than 6 months to process etc.

Yet to receive any email from HO requesting for documents.

Any idea if the documents are processed ONLY AFTER they send the biometric related email (assuming no July applicants have not yet received biometric email)
Could you please share what was the email address from where you got delay email? It was case worker email address or any generic email addresses used for auto-generated emails?
