ILR SET-M Social groups question

Post by juijuba » Thu Jul 23, 2020 3:01 pm

Hello

I'm completing my SET-M ILR online application and need help on the question:
Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?
What do they mean by this exactly, I answered 'NO'

But it asks to explain why:

My answer is: I only have use Whatsapp and Snapchat with my family and close friends.

Is this OK?

Re: ILR SET-M Social groups question

It is not a question about what social media is used.

It is about social groups or cultural ties to home country, ie church group, university alumni or anything like and cultural ties to home country.

Not social media!!

Thanks CR001

This question is vague and unclear to me:
Confirm who your parents or legal guardians are (Required)
Answers are:
  • My Name
  • Someone else
Do I add my partners details as 'Someone else' or just continue by selecting my self alone.

ILR SET-M questions

Post by juijuba » Tue Jul 28, 2020 3:56 pm

Hello

Need some help/clarity on these questions:
Confirm who your parents or legal guardians are?
Answers options are:
  • ME
  • Someone Else
Do I need to select the someone else option to provide my partners details? or is selecting myself enough?

Do you have an immigration adviser based in the UK?
Is this meant if I'm using a lawyer?

Documents supporting my other reasons to stay in the UK?
What is meant by this? is my partners work payslips, childrens school letters sufficient?

Thanks

You do not need to answer that you have other reasons to stay in the UK
Thanks

Re: ILR SET-M questions URGENT

Post by juijuba » Tue Aug 04, 2020 10:17 pm

Hello

On the declaration page, I'm the applicant and completing on behalf of both of my children, options are:

I am the applicant aged 18 or over

I am the applicant aged under 18

I am the applicant and I am also submitting the form on behalf of other applicants

I am the parent or legal guardian of the applicant who is aged under 18 and completing and submitting the form on their behalf

I am submitting the form on behalf of the applicant

Do I select "I am the applicant and I am also submitting the form on behalf of other applicants"

Thanks but im over 18 and also applying..

the application is for ME and two dependents who are my children, which option is correct for me:

I am the applicant aged 18 or over

I am the applicant aged under 18

I am the applicant and I am also submitting the form on behalf of other applicants

I am the parent or legal guardian of the applicant who is aged under 18 and completing and submitting the form on their behalf

Yes the third option looks fine then.
