arunkumarprs wrote:Hi guys, Why don’t you call them and ask them for a courier pickup...
I'm telling you. its far far safe and much reliable... I used it thru MBE and they delivered me the passport & docs next day morning.. It cost around £35, but worth of it than taking risk of 2nd class Royal Mail....
One more advantage is that your CW will inform you when it is ready, so you can come to know about it at least 3-4 days before than normal.
Choice is yours....

I don't think we will get any updates today. We can expect something tomorrow. All documents posted by HO on Friday should have reached on Saturday. If they post them today, we should be getting them the earliest is tomorrow. So no point checking with anyone today.
Wel if they post doc's with the 2nd class recorded delivery ( which they always do ) you will recieve them today rather then staurday. as it takes 2-3 days for 2nd class to be delivered.
Hope this helps!!
Already I have sent self addressed special delivery envelop.

Hi guys,
As agreed i am writing to update you with the status of my application. It is a good new for me and for those who applied in the week commencing 30th of June.
I applied on 30th of June.
Got Application Reference on 1st of July.
Called back 2 weeks ago for status and it was not passed on to case worker.
Last week (Monday) i called for urgent treatment and sent a fax stating that i need to travel abroad.
I again called back last friday (22nd of august) and they said the application is with a case worker so be hopeful.
Today (26th August), surprise a i got my documents and i have been granted permit for 3 years. (i initially thought that they might have refused, as i got my doc's back so quickly)..
In my case it took approximately 8.5 weeks, as my case was pretty straight forward with all information properly presented...and i wish you good luck with your applications.
keep posting with your updates.

Its annoying to find his messages in a wrong thread. Can't you find your own thread of discussion?
Congrats to sajidme..
But Surprisingly, Even the UT request is being reviewed twice whether its
a genuine UT Request. So i think, we might need to be careful in
explaining the rationale behind our UT Request...

Well, There might not be any updates today in regrads to recieving our doc's back, as if they have posted stuff yesterday with 2nd class recorded, it will take at least 2-3 days to come though to us. Still please post your updates ( if any ) you get from HO CC!

Grant,
This is contradicting your earlier statement
I have sent special delivery envelop. Ideally we still can expect our documents today.

Bgmdude,
I would suggest you should go though my post again. i never mentioned anything about special delivery envelope
and have specifically mentioned
2nd class recoreded delivery cases, Obviously if you have sent 1 with your doc's then there are chances that you might get ur stuff back today (provided HO sent them yesterday). Anyways that was just my assumption, it doesnt necessarily mean thats the way its going to be.
Hope this helps

Congrats,
Which consultant? Did you have any specific reason you required their assitance/consultancy? Is your case a complex one, if yes let us know.

went through medivisas, mine was a complicated case ,during my WP extension I stayed in UK for 3 days after my LTR expired. Was not aware of the fact that you can apply for visa even before you get the WP approved.as soon as I got the WP approved ,I realised the fact and went back to homecountry. My employer filed another WP and I came back after 1 month. I was not sure about how to go about this hence went through a consultant.

I called UK home office regarding my Teir 1(general) application I submitted on 14th July,
The lady named Sarah asked for my Reference number, My case is still
not assigend to any one, Currently they are looking on the cases upto 30 June and according to her tt will probalbly take couple of weeks for my application to be assigned to CASE worker.
Lets see what happens.
