Can i ask? what was the date of your original application, was this your second letter or had you received a second stage letter before this?

Waiting since September 2017, last week my solicitor sent them a threatening letter that I am initiating the judicial review process if you don't reply with in 28 days, received a letter today that don't go for judicial review we give a definite answer within 10 weeks, so fingers crossed, never wrecking 3 years,

The name of the team does not really matter. The same exact letter could have been sent by CMU-1 or 3 or 4 as workload is distributed between different teams in the department.

I disagree.
I've been told by someone that works there that the teams are broken down by categories - non EU, EU etc
1-3 definite approval. 4&5 = chance of a refusal.

I bet that person didn't think that you will take it seriously
Name of the team does not indicate the outcome of the application.

This is not correct. My uncle Non EU got acknowledgement, second letter and approval from only Team 4 & 5. The person that told you was probably on medication..

As people have pointed out for years, there is no difference whatsoever regarding team numbers...
Also, there are way more than 5 teams...
