Email from home office about 6months deadline due to Covid-19

Has anyone else received an email from the home office that the 6 months deadline for citizenship application won’t be met due to Covid-19?

Has anyone received such email but then received a decision shortly after?

Is it only people who applied through post that received this email or has anyone who applied online received this email?

Thanks and no I haven’t received a decision yet. However I called home office some time last month and was told on phone I would receive an email in 5 working days. 2 days later home office sent me and email saying to refer back to email sent on 22/5/20 that again due to Covid they will be delay and will let me know as soon as their is an update on my case. I advise not to contact them as you will just be wasting your time. As soon as I hear something I’ll be sure to let you know.
