**** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Applied 29th July, Opted out last week from biometric reuse. I logged in to search for appointments and got one for tomorrow morning at 9:00am. I had already previously uploaded all my docs. The UKVAS centre has availability for Monday, Tuesday... and so on Next week (Sheffield).

I had not yet recieved an email inviting me to book before I booked. Ain't nobody got time.

I applied on 28th July, opted out on 7th August. No email received , just logged in and booked appointment for 18th August for £69 , lansdown, received QR code as well.. Hope all get to book appointments

Check Junk Mails for QR code also. QR codes can take up to few hours.

I received mine after 15 mins but may take a while in some cases. Some people previously reported they received email after 4 hours so worth waiting for some time.

I received email as well to book appoinment applied on 17 july for my patner set O just booked appointment 18 aug lansdown 69.99 pound hope everyone received the same . I opt out on monday 7aug

Glad to know that the 'opted out' people are able to book and attend appointments. Now wait for the app starts for us, the poor 'opt-in' folk !!

Opted out on 10th, no appointments available to me. Really glad for those opted out before 7th! Hope they'll release appointments for those opted out between 7-10th later this week as their email said the invitation will also be sent out this week.

To be clear:

Opt out deadline for all applicants up until June was 7th August 2020. (no time was mentioned)

Opt out deadline ONLY for July applicants was 10th August 2020 5pm.

Yes, the email that I got states 10th August (5pm) deadline.

Check your booking system. Many have booked even without an email.
