Morning everyone
One last question
I uploaded all my documents
But there is one thing that I’m not sure
They are asking for the proof of my application
What should I upload there

Also the categories doesn’t match
Does it matter which category should we upload
Thank u

Hello,
Proof of application is your passport. the categories are quite generic, upload in a category which best fits the document.

F.A.O CR001
Hi everyone
Today I went for my appointment but one of the ukvcs officers make me confused
(I paid extra for checking my documents)
She was going through my uploaded files
She said why I didn’t upload proof of living in the uk for the last 3 years
I said My last 2 passport got all stamps on it( entry and exit)
This is my proof
She said no
I need to upload documents like utility bills, council tax bank statement
I wasn’t agree with her while I been advised by respected CR001 that I don’t need to upload them
Anyway long story short cut
She handed me a form and it’s was been written on the form that Caustomer has not submitted all documents on the acces uk checklist but wishes to proceed without submitting any further evidence.

And took my signature on the form

At the end she mentioned it again that I have until 10 pm to use the self upload function to load the documents which I listed above

I’m very confused and worry
Any help please
Thank u

Your passports are sufficient if you have followed the UK visa route to ILR (ie. not the EEA/EU route).

UKCVAS is only a third party agent and probably not trained to a high level by UKVI.

I can see you applied on 30th June. You are lucky you were chosen to attend the biometrics. As CR001 said, you do not need anything other than passport(s). I have had a similar experience with UKVCAS agent. They do not know anything about immigration matters. They just go by the checklist. Hopefully you will get your decision very soon. Good luck.

This is a screen shot of my application form before submission when you tick all the boxes. It clearly states that.

If you dont mind answering may I ask you a question please?

I can see that your ILR was granted just now in June 2020 and you applied for naturalisation right away on the basis of a British spouse.

You must have provided your biometrics at UKVCAS for your ILR application recently also?

I am just trying to understand why you did not qualify for biometrics reuse and rather was chosen to attend biometrics.

Btw as i said previously, you are lucky to be chosen to attend biometrics but I am just trying to understand UKVI’s eligibility criteria for biometrics reuse.

Thank you

Thank you Behen (sister) for your reply. Yes, UKVI’s eligibility criteria for reusing biometrics is still unclear. All the best. I have a strong feeling you will get your successful decision very soon inshaAllah. Good luck.

Yes you will have to wait for the ceremony invitation letter from HO. Also HO will send your certificate to the council.

There is massive backlog and delay.
It may take 8-12 weeks.
Also, British passport application may take longer around 6 weeks or so.

Note: You are free to travel on your ILR BRP before you attend your ceremony.

After, you attend your ceremony you will become British and will have to return your ILR BRP within 5 days as your ILR BRP will be invalid then.

So make sure you plan accordingly in case any plans of travel.
