I had an appointment this morning. I took all my documents. The staff browsed through my upload. She told me police registration has to be under other category, therefore she scanned it and added it. Better to bring all with you.
Did they check all the documents (one by one) to see if there is any missing?
She checked the mandatory ones but seriously don’t rely on UKvcas. For example, She doesn’t know how many passports I have and can’t tell if some are missing. The appointment was half an hour and I understand for some people was ten min only. Better do multiple checking yourself beforehand.

Hi , how long did you have to wait , is there a long queue when you get there ? I am asking since we have a young baby with us and will help us plan . Finally which location was your appointment? thank you
It was Lansdowne at Croydon.
My appointment was 8am. It is the first available slot. I arrived at 7:35. I was the first one. There were around 10 people all booked in at 8. We had to wait until 8 and then a staff took us all upstairs.

Opt out email sent at 4.30pm on 10th Aug. Just received the appointment booking email and booked an appointment on 19th at Lansdowne Road (cost 110). The earliest appointment at all other locations near London was early Sep when I was booking (didn't check Mark Lane premium Lounge). The confirmation email arrived within minutes.

Hi, I just checked UKVCAS and yes it is an enhanced centre so should include document checking and scanning. 110 is the cost of out-of-hour service at an enhanced centre. I have previously submitted my scanned copies and clicked the 'submit to UKVI' button at UKVCAS, so not sure if they still offer such service to me.

Applied SET(O) on 31-July and opted out on 7-Aug. Still no UKVCAS email and unable to see any appointment slots anywhere whatsoever :? Anybody in similar situation and able to book appointments?

Out of interest when they say 'all your original supporting documents', I take it they mean the actual passport etc and not photocopies?

Finally wait is over, received an email invitation to book an appointment.

I managed to book an appointment for earlier next working day (Monday, 17th August). There were only 2 service points with appointments available on Monday, 17th August (Both in Scotland).

I nearly checked all centers available in UK, if someone want to ask availability dates in any center I made screenshots and can provide details.

Best of luck!

Hi all,
I applied on 28th March. Opted out on 7th August at 20:10.
I got my appointment email 1hr ago, booked immediately for Monday 17th August at Gloucester Library. I know I have to drive from Colchester to there but that is the earliest I can book.

Wishing good luck to all applicants.

Those who got the approval email eventually, can you please confirm whether it's clear from the email that the ILR has been granted? I've read somewhere that the email can be vague (e.g. just says the BRP will arrive soon blah blah)

It states that ‘ Your application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK has been successful.’ in the email.

It is always recommend to carry ALL originals to your appointment. Sometimes a poor scan needs to be redone.

I recall a member who reported that UKVCAS was unable to view the documents even after he had submitted documents via UKVCAS portal but had to redo all the scans at the appointment.

Normally, the staff do not check any documents if you have uploaded already but on the safer side, it is always recommended so to avoid any situation as stated above.

If you already uploaded and submitted documents using UKVCAS and you are happy then there is no need to ask rescanning of document during appointment.

Just take your passport with you for appointments.

Good to see that UKVCAS honored the commitment and sent biometrics invitations to people who opted out for 7th Aug and 10th Aug deadlines.

I hope they will stick to their commitment again and launch IDV app with in this month (August as committed in IDV app email).

Did Lansdown, which is an enhanced center, scan all your documents including passport at the center?

@ILRGB

Enhanced centres usually have a package to scan documents included in the appointment price. If you have not uploaded documents yourself, they can do it for you. Passport usually is scanned anyways (some times multiple pages) to check the authenticity of the passport etc.
