Due to this repetitive discrepancy, ideally reissuance of payslips will be more better as employer letter alone might not work.ssasi2020 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 4:06 pmHi, i just discovered major issue on my payslip and payment on my bank statement. After my pub closed at the end of march to it reopened in first week of july. Inbetween of that 16 weeks of payslip i just got. Payslip has variable figure -
343.94
343.74×4
367.34
347.74×7
But all my payments are 341.79.( i have no idea how pub owner got that figure and transferred me same figure every week.
How big issue is this ? How can i fix this?
Please advise.
Thank you.
Thank you seagul. I will speak with the owner. How payroll can adjust the figure. They can't change anything on how much tax has paid or gross earning, it was already sent to hmrc.seagul wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 4:38 pmDue to this repetitive discrepancy, ideally reissuance of payslips will be more better as employer letter alone might not work.ssasi2020 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 4:06 pmHi, i just discovered major issue on my payslip and payment on my bank statement. On updating to HMRC, minor discrepancies usually are offsetted from present/future earnings under paye system.ssasi2020 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 4:53 pmThank you seagul. I will speak with the owner. You can even use your income and its associated documents up to March 2020
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus ... -residentsChanges to the minimum income and adequate maintenance requirement
If you’ve experienced a loss of income due to coronavirus up to 31 August, we will consider employment income for the period immediately before the loss of income due to coronavirus, provided the requirement was met for at least 6 months up to March 2020.
Thank you .That could be one way of doing it. If i go with the income until 15 march 2020, how many months of payslip and bank statement will i need to provide?seagul wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 9:44 pmYou can even use your income and its associated documents up to March 2020

For minor discrepancy an employer letter clarifying the reason should be enough
Not relevant to you. Ideally wait for the outcome of your set(lr)
Same as said earlier that to keep the confusion diminished simply use payslips until March 2020 where as per you there is only one discrepancy. And that single discrepancy can be clarified through a covering letter. Regarding tax discrepancy, just update to HMRC who will sort this out from future income.
Hi, no there isn't any tax discrepancy. The net pay in the payslip is different than what she actually paid me. Most of times by few pounds and one time by 25 pound. Basically, i was underpaid against payslip. The total comes around £85.seagul wrote: ↑Thu Aug 20, 2020 6:33 pmSame as said earlier that to keep the confusion diminished simply use payslips until March 2020 where as per you there is only one discrepancy. I am thinking about providing 1 year of payslip from 1 sep 2019 to 7 September 2020, and bank statement anyway. Won't that cover me pre march 6 months ( automatically) in the event if they were to disregard 14 weeks of income and not to meet the adequate maintenance income level based on 1 march 2020 to September 2020. 1.At this point Will they look my payslip and bank statement from 1 September 2019 to 1 march 2020, and consider my application based on covid 19 guidance.seagul wrote: ↑Thu Aug 20, 2020 6:33 pmSame as said earlier that to keep the confusion diminished simply use payslips until March 2020 where as per you there is only one discrepancy. As i have mentioned previously and also beginning of this thread, i am not doing the set lr. I changed my mind. Instead iam extending my current flr fp. So it isn't imaginary application. Therefore asking for advice.
While your efforts to get everything ship shape are commendable, in the grand scheme of things cover letter would suffice. CW are most time reasonable enough to accommodate variances from the norm that are explainable.ssasi2020 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:08 pmJust an update,
After all the chase, now there is only one discrepancy of under £1 between payslip and hmrc record . I may just leave it like this now!
And only one discrepancy between payslip and bank statement, £4.50 underpayment, which i will ask her to transfer me the money. And mention it in the employment letter.
What an irony, she did something silly today, she again underpaid me by 20 pence against payslip. When i contacted her about it she said she will transfer me that 20 pence tomorrow morning. So my bank statement is going to show 27-08-2020 £319.59 and 28-08-2020 £0.20 . There is no transaction in between. Do i still need a letter about it?
Thank you

If you're unable to get it corrected, it's not a deal-breaker especially if other details like date of birth are stated.
Thank you. I don't have enough time to get it corrected. I am applying in 2 days. No there isn't any other his detail on the letter apart from his name and surname.
If no time to correct it then use it as it is. Can point it out to CW to if need clarification to reach school about the typo.ssasi2020 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 11:50 pmThank you.
