i have taken a personal loan and kept it in savings bank account which is my salary account also. I intend to use these funds as minimum balance required for HSMP/Tier 1 application. Is there any problem with this?

this is infact the most straight forward way, u can show the PL proof that u got from the bank. Even i did the same.
-HSMP(2008)->Tier 1(2009)->ILR(2013)->Naturalisation(2014)->OCI(2014)-
