Can I Apply for Tier 2 visa with an expiring Tuberculosis certificate before the date of journey

Post by srikanthprathi » Sun Aug 09, 2020 10:21 am

Hello All,

I have received my Tuberculosis certificate (which is a mandatory document for India applicants as per UKVI) from Center for Migration Medicine (CMM), Hyderabad in India, and I'm supposed to apply for the UK Tier 2 General Visa in the month of March, but I didn't, due to the Lockdown restrictions.

Now my TB Certificate is going to expire 4th September and when I requested a new Tuberculosis test with the Center for Migration Medicine (CMM), they informed me that I can't schedule a new test until before the 2 weeks of the ongoing certificate expiry date.

Since, the VFS center in Hyderabad, India is accepting the application UK Tire 2 General Visa, I have got assigned a new CoS from my employer and they are planning to apply the VISA application next week. But, before applying for the Tier 2 General Visa I want to make sure whether the UKVI will accept the Tuberculosis Certificate which is valid till 4th September (which I am holding now with me) where my planned date of journey is in the month of October.

Can anyone please suggest me on this. Thanks in advance.

Your TB cert needs to be valid on the date of application. It doesn't matter if it expires while ukvi is processing your application.

It needs to be valid on the date of application.

Topics merged!!! You already asked this question on 9th August and got a response. Why do you believe the answer is different asking the same question again??

Initially I thought that I'm going to submit the application by 11th Aug, but due to some personal reasons I didn't and now my TB cert is just having a 20 days to expire. So I thought of re-checking.

So even if I am submitting my documents on 31st Aug at VFS Hyderabad, it will be valid and UKVI will accept it right?

Do I need to submit supporting document for maintenance funds

Post by srikanthprathi » Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:51 am

Hi Team,

It is mentioned in the CoS, YES for "Tick to certify maintenance for migrant (and dependants, if applicable):'.

Do I need to submit any supporting document for the same from the employer?

Along with that is it required to submit the 3 months bank statements with the UK Tier 2 General application at VFS?

Requesting you to please solve my queries. Thank you.

Hi,

This was the same when I applied back in 2016 from Denmark.
My employer choose "YES" in that category "Tick to certify maintenance for migrant (and dependants, if applicable):'.

I didn't provided any supporting docuemnts for mantencance fund.
it is also mentioned as point 166 in the following document

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... idance.pdf

Good luck!

Issue Date in Aadhar Card

Post by srikanthprathi » Sun Aug 30, 2020 4:13 pm

While submitting the UKVI application for the tier 2 general visa from India, I have provided the issue date(if applicanle) of the Aadhar card which was on the day of filling the application, but post that I have updated my aadhar card with the current address and now the issue date got changed to a new one.

It is mentioned that post submission I can't change the details provided in the application.

Will the UKVI or VFS make any objection for the change in issue date?
