Technical question for the IDV app users.

Should the submit button turn to a grey "submitted" button after photo submission.

I have completed the ID check and uploaded all documents mandatory and others previously. Have also pressed the red submit button which turned to a grey submit now. In the video it shows that it must be a grey “submitted” button rather then a grey “submit” button otherwise something is missing. Are we all in the same boat? Or im missing a document?

Ours shows submit in grey and above it now says something along the lines of that the application is now submitted. It was red clicked submit and then We had to confirm a statement and then it turned grey after

An observation that most of the users receiving IDV invites are SET M or SET LR. Can any SET O applicants confirm if they received invite and what date did you apply?

It means what it says!! your account isn't enabled yet for IDV submission. Please wait for the invite. What's your application date?

I applied ILR set o on June 2 and have now received an invite for the IDV app though the app won't open. I think its down to many people being invited to log in. I received the invitation 10minutes ago. Hope this helps

Got email at 5:40pm for "Introducing the UKVCAS IDV app"
Applied on 14 Aug 2020, hopefully we all get the invitation for app use before 14 Sept 2020!

According to the latest update above, only one centre was opened this week, being Hamel Hempstead. London Stratford was first planned to open 3rd August and then it was delayed by a week now it’s a month - September this is a joke. I’m speechless

That's great. So, my assumption of SET O moving slowly was wrong!
perhaps a heavy traffic today. UKVCAS should stagger the invites throughout the day rather than releasing them all at once. But hopefully you should be able to use the app pretty soon. Good luck!

I have uploaded all documents on UKVCAS website and submitted but realize that my Passport scan copy i did not uploaded in mandatory field, and now i uploaded before i get IDV app invite, however as we know we can only submitted once on UKVCAS website and now the file shows uploaded and have option of remove as well

The main question: can we see those documents on IDV app (specially uploaded after submitted on UKVCAS website)

OR will it shows only the submitted documents only?

Nope, opt out won't work now. It was just a temporary provision. Just hang in there, your invite is not far (before 14 Sep). People have waited for 4-5 months!
