Some encouraging signs for IDV users. One more user in the BC forum reported to have received decision after using IDV app.
IDV submission - 21 Aug
Decision - 4 Sep
Hope they start actioning the ILR applications also.

Just saw this. Looks like it has only been BC approvals thats been made through the IDV app so far.
Yes, no ILR applicant has reported a decision after IDV yet. But should be just a matter of little time.
Wish there were more in the FLR(M) group to see what timeframe that’s working under.
I’ll post my FLR(M) timeline in a bit. I believe I was one of the earliest app users and still waiting....

This is why I believe dual submission of biometrics may not work and complicate things further.
What happens when I press ‘submit’ on the UKVCAS IDV app?
Your application and all the documents you uploaded will be submitted to UKVI.
Please note, you can only submit your application once. Please ensure you have uploaded all documents before you submit your application.
This could be only if you use IDV app. If you login back to the IDV app after submission then yes, you don't have the option to submit again. But that might not be true if you go to an in-person appointment. I really don't know! Feeling so drained right now.

contact 08006781767 or email CIH@homeoffice.gov.uk and basicallyy pest them until they escalate.

Also it might be worth while writing to your MP and ask them to contact Home Office to escalate.

When did you apply and use IDV app.
I’ve lost the link to FLR(M) timeline and can’t find it!
If you speak to your MP they can get an update on your application.

I applied 28 March and used the app 19 August. It takes HO up to 20 working days to respond to my MP’s query. I really wish to have a decision before this.

Hi everyone,
Not sure again if this is the right place to post.

About 4 days ago I wrote a post here regarding my FLR M application. I had issues using the IDV app - my application got submitted automatically without my knowledge and ONLY my passport was sent with my application!

Contacted IDV helpline and Home Office, UKVCAS kept telling me they don’t know why it was submitted and tried blaming me. Home office as usual we’re blunt over the phone and said it’s not their problem. I got in touch with the FLR M email which I sent my application to. They were VERY helpful. They apologised to me regarding the issue I had using the app and told me I could send all my documents for my application to them via email.

Just a reminder for anyone stressing out about their application - try and contact the relevant people e.g UKVCAS, Home office, the department you sent your application to (for me it was FLR M Validate), or contact your MP. Also, the home office will often say contradicting things, so call them a few times for different opinions.

First time the HO told me there’s nothing I can do. 2nd time they said the caseworker will contact me when they see that only my passport is on file. 3rd time they said to email the home office on the general email and the 4th time around they said to email FLR M Validate which was a good idea.

Wishing everyone luck on their applications.

My MP got back to me within 2 days. It depends how busy the MP's office is. Please keep on asking your MP's office to check on your application too. The more pressure HO has to do things right, they will have to roll out decisions quicker. Laws are made for people and we have demonstrated over and over again that people's voice can change major policies. Keep on trying!

Hi folks,
August applicant here. Tried the app without the invite email (as usual) and it seems working so went straight to book an appointment. Booked for next week. Paid £135

I'm continuously keeping an eye on ILR set LR timeline. It looks like there are only few people who submit long residence applications or there's a huge backlog.

Last person who received the decision on that timeline was from 05.2020. What's the difference kind of huge difference of timeline between set LR and all other sets?
ILR set LR ..application date through solicitor =17/08/2020
Bio-metric re use email received=03/09/2020
waiting for next step ....

Once the app invite comes, the booking appointment system also opens up.
Both systems open up at the same time even if an email is not received yet in OP’s case.
