Tier-2 dependent job in another EU country

Post by lkv » Wed Sep 09, 2020 4:09 pm

Hello ,
Me ( Tier-2 main applicant) and my wife ( dependent ) staying in UK since 2017 .Now my wife got a job offer in Netherlands and employer is ready to sponsor work permit for 1 year .

My question is ,If she takes up this job offer ( she will be on Netherlands work permit ) and work there for 12 months ,Does this affect her ILR eligibility ? or Tier-2 dependent status it self ?

Any help would be really appreciated

Both of our visas initially granted on 18/05/2017 and again renewed on 18/03/2020 ,valid till 14/10/2022 .

Then yes, she is subject to the 180 days in any rolling 12 month absence limit and it will break her continuity of residence for ilr.

It won't affect her visa though, but she won't qualify for ilr in 2022.
