Tier 2 General Dependent IHS Help

Post by xor83 » Tue Sep 15, 2020 1:13 pm

I have tier2 General Visa as main applicant and I got approved and received my passport. I applied for my wife and son but during online application process they didn't asked for IHS reference of payment. When I applied as main applicant they take me to pay healthcare surcharge and the IHS reference is printed on my application, without this step I am not able to proceed to VFS appointment login. Did I missed something? Will they ask for IHS later or after arriving to UK?. My wife got VFS appointment but we cant see IHS reference on application or to pay online.

Please help

They need to pay IHS. You must have missed something on the form.

You can pay it separately.

That link allows me to create a account and I can see one IHS reference number but there no option to pay IHS. Even if I able pay how can I relate this to my VFS application?

There must be an option. Read everything again. Many have done it.

When I select "Applying outside UK" it shows this message:

"You don't need to continue. You need to pay the IHS in your visa application if you're applying from outside the UK."

But in application they dint show any option to pay IHS.

What should I select here

" Has John Doe been informed they are eligible for a Health and Care visa? (Required) "

YES or NO?

I clicked YES. Is that the issue

All went well!!

I have one more question, For my son I am applying under Tier2 General Child Dependent, he is 6 years old but they are asking me to pay full IHS payment same as mine. Is that ok? Do they charge IHS for child under 18 years or age?. We are applying outside UK.

Same IHS for children as for adults. There is no discount.
