Hi guys,
I received the letter from my child's school for my involvement. But they misspelled my son's name on the letter. Real name-Aaryan , name on the letter-Aryan.
Is this an issue? Thanks
If you're unable to get it corrected, it's not a deal-breaker especially if other details like date of birth are stated.
Thank you. I don't have enough time to get it corrected. I am applying in 2 days. No there isn't any other his detail on the letter apart from his name and surname.
If no time to correct it then use it as it is. Can point it out to CW to if need clarification to reach school about the typo.
I sent email this morning and she corrected the name but it was half done. His name is mentioned twice in the letter and she only changed on the top one. Name on second paragraph now remains misspelled!

That's a shame after all your efforts.

You can submit it as it is. They'll understand it's just an error.

Have you registered with UKVCAS? They will contact you if you have.

Your employer can use this service to check your right to work.

Thank you. But When I did right to work check service yesterday, it says i am allowed to work only until 23 September 2020? Which isn't helpful in my situation. I already have brp card until that date. Unless they update it once the current visa expires.

If you have made an in time application it confers on you keeping the same right you had as you current/about to expire leave.

Before biometric appointment date!

The date of application is the date you submit and pay online and NOT the date you upload or the biometric appointment date.

You can upload them at any point after online submission and payment and before the biometric appointment date. This is separate to the notification of biometrics etc.

Note that the date on your supporting documents must be on or before the date you applied online and not after this date.

Hi, i was going through my application account on ukvi and there is it says "attend an appointment to provide your documents and biometric by 12 November 2020."
I applied on 10th September.

1. Does this mean i am not eligible for idv app service?
2. Its asking me to book appointment but when i try booking one there isn't any available.

Thank you.

UKVCAS states that the document scanning service is included in the price of an appointment at an Enhanced Service Point.

Ukvcas update says applicants applied after 5 September can book appointment from 21 September. And idv isn't applicable.
And now i got the email last night from ukvcas saying "invitation to use idv app ".
I am all confused now. Should I just ignore the email and wait until 21 September and book the appointment ?

Have you tried logging in to the app to see if it allows you in?
