IHS fee

Hi

Currently I am on tier 2 dependent. I have to apply for extension for 2 more years as my spouse visa expiry is Oct 2022. (3 year visa grant last year)
So do I have to pay IHS for 3 years or 2 years. When I calculate on gov.uk it says 3 years.

If your visa only expires in October 2022, why are you asking now?

When does your spouse qualify for ILR?

My visa is expiring next month. My spouse visa is expiring Oct 2022. ILR is in 2024. I was on ICT till now and now switching to dependent.

You apply for a visa based on the length of the CoS of your spouse. If it is a 3 year CoS, you have to pay 3 years IHS. You can request a refund later, but no guarantee you will get it.

The IHS fee is increasing on 1st October.
